Tuesday, November 8, 2011:
Made it to Salt Lake City without a hitch. We had to stop by Mr. Mac to exchange some of Michael's white shirts (the regular cut fit him like a tent - definitely needed the fitted shirts). Had lunch at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown SLC (great view of the Salt Lake temple). Then on to our motel where we promptly took naps (I guess that altitude there took it out of us). In the evening we got together with some old friends from church (Cedar Park Ward) for dinner - the Nords, the Blacks, and Wiscombes (Karen and Paul). It sure was nice to see them again, especially since this time we were able to see all three families at the same time . . .
